In cold enough areas such as the arctic, ice and snow are the only building materials they need as the cold doesn't phase them. Ice dragons are amazing builders as their breath allows them to craft any shape. In some instances, wind dragons are also known as sand dragons due to their ability to cause destructive sandstorms and swim through the sand like water. Although they aren't fire-resistant, heat doesn't bother them, as their elemental abilities keep them cool. Most dragons would exhaust themselves trying to fly so deeply into the dry hostile desert, but wind dragons have no problem. When wind dragons aren't occupying the transportation systems of cities, they live deep in sandy deserts. The more recluse lightning dragons tend to live atop mountains or environments saturated with storms. Lightning dragons frequently play the role of scholars or factory workers, charging machines or other mechanisms in technologically advanced regions such as Warfang. Lightning dragons have a quick wit and an extremely resourceful breath.

Some fire dragon clans choose to live in extremely hostile volcanic lands because they are immune to even the heat of molten earth and magma. Many of the most successful dragon societies have their armor, tools, and structures built by fire dragons, and places like Warfang are known for their royal aesthetics.
